Hammond takes top spot at Margate Primary

MARGATE Primary was very busy last week with both track and field events for seniors and juniors. As usual there was healthy competition between houses and Hammond house finally won the cup. They were followed by Mitchell and Reid for senior primary and Reid house winning for the juniors. Senior victrix ludorum was won by Kirstie Dicken and Tyrelle Dicken took the victor award. Four athletes travelled to Newcastle for the provincial cross-country championships as part of the Ugu team. Although the conditions worked against the athletes, they did their very best. Well done to them all.
