THE SA Kids ‘tour’ came to the South Coast recently, with some of the country’s future stars playing at San Lameer CC over three rounds.
Among them were local girl Simoné Ferreira, as well as Syan Ramchander (7) all the way from Cape Town, who is the grandson of well-known golfer Bobby Naidoo.
He is the son of Navin and Pranusha Ramchander.
Syan enjoyed playing in granddad’s neck of the woods, and hopes one day to be the new Tiger Woods.
Mark McNulty, one of the sponsors and someone who wants to see the game grow, was at the event, handing out prizes and meeting the youngsters.
Simoné won her division, while Syan finished fourth in his.
