Business hockey was serious fun!
The 'Misfits' proved victorious claiming bragging rights at this final business hockey tournament.
TEAMMATES, hockey kits, great camaraderie and even some rain – and more hockey than you can shake a stick at was what players witnessed at the Port Shepstone club’s final business tournament of the year at Creston College last Sunday.

No experience was needed. It was just total fun, a social day between companies. The format was five-a-side, or six with a sub. Twelve teams entered and the rainy, cold weather didn’t dampen their spirits! A round robin was held after which the teams got a taste of the Astro Turf for their final game.

Organiser Donovan Rothman said that at the end of the day all the teams had fun. “We brought together a mixture of new and experienced players. I want to thank Creston College for the use of its fields and Astro Turf, as well as Powerade and all other sponsors who donated prizes.” The overall winners were the ‘Misfits,’ with ‘Allsorts’ coming in second place.
