Clear winners at Umtamvuna trail run

The route was a little tougher than perhaps expected.

MANY new faces joined the monthly family fun trail run at Clearwater Café and Trail last Sunday.

Although slightly tougher than the traditional park run 5km route, all who took part thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and incredible views that the Umtamvuna area has to offer.

First male runner in was again Joshua Morrison-Young while the first woman was Chenique Slier, who both were treated to a free breakfast at the Clearwater Café.

Next month no run will be held due to the Wild Coast Sun Trail Run Challenge taking place on Sunday, October 30.

This will be over distances of 20km, 10km and 5km. Come enjoy the new innovative course that is being designed on the resort.

Register online at www.roag.co.za. All finishers will go home with a ‘buff’ bandana and the first 200 pre-entries receive a free t-shirt.
