Track Torque: A surprise in Sepang perhaps?

THIS coming weekend’s grand prix at Sepang will be much the same for most of the teams with minor improvements here and there, except for Honda who are making their last major upgrade this season in Malaysia.

It really will be fitting if Jenson Button can see the season out with some better performances before he retires, while McLaren Honda’s other world champion driver, Fernando Alonso, is also very determined to prove he is worthy of his choice as number one again for next year with the team.

We will watch them with interest this weekend hoping for some good results!

Mercedes twins Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton should prevail again but will be hounded by the other very competitive twins from Red Bull in Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen.

I also expect the Prancing Horse team of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen to do better this time around as they have the potential and determination to improve on their current record. Viva Ferrari!

Qualifying will be on Saturday, October 1 at 11am with the race on Sunday at 9am.

Let us see whether the rising sun shines on its sons in the form of McLaren Honda?
