THE weather at Umtentweni Tennis Club last Saturday was what seems to be the norm lately: grey, dull, chilly and very windy but no rain.
Trish Grant was on duty and did a fine job organising sets and providing some lovely eats for tea.
Her husband Grant is away visiting a friend in Indiana, USA.
Members were happy to welcome Dr Brighton as a visitor and to have Craig Saunderson back on court after a long lay-off following an Achilles tendon problem.
Dan Dimitriu is home from visiting family in Romania.
John Silk is away with his wife attending their grandson’s wedding in the Free State and enjoying few days in the ‘Berg.
Keith Gatley is on duty this Saturday and Chloe Dutton on October 22.
