Power to the ‘People’ at Sheppie
There was some pretty good scoring despite the rain.
THE People’s Choice business day at Port Shepstone Country Club last Friday was won by the sponsors.
That’s a bit like Tiger Woods winning the annual event he hosts. Kind of. Okay, maybe not at all!
Best score of 97 points went to the People’s Choice team, comprising Ryan Ringo, Daryl D’Arcy, Graeme Milligan and Grant Peterson.
Runners-up on 93 points were Koko Zithumane, Vusi Maphumulo, Eddie Ringo and Mnqobi Godongwane.
Third spot on 88 points went to Johan Greef, Kevin Murray, Eugene Orsmond and Fellow Albertyn.
The previous Wednesday’s comp was won by Jack van Heerden and Chris Boyce on 43 points.
Runners-up were Thys Blom and Johann du Plessis on 42 points, with Tony van Niekerk and a pivot in third on 41 points.
Saturday’s comp was won by Shaun Nathanson and Dave Higgins on +13, from Sagren Pillay and Sashen Govender on +11.
In third on +10 were Thys Blom and Fanie Kuhn.
