New Honda BR-V is a hit

The showroom of Honda Auto was a hive of activity last Saturday.

THE long awaited bold, all new Honda BR-V was launched at Honda Auto Shelly Beach recently. Honda fans arrived to view this new addition to the line-up, which features the combination of a bold, sporty appearance and handling of an SUV together with great utility.

Be it a city drive or a weekend getaway to the hills, the Honda BR-V is a new generation sport utility vehicle.

Sales manager of Honda Auto Shelly Beach, Kim Scrooby said that the exterior design was striking and reflected toughness and a premium SUV character. “Sporting a bold and wide stance from the front, the exterior styling is highlighted by projector headlamps, front grille design and LED position lamps. Silver finish roof rails of the BR-V accentuate the sporty appeal of the vehicle,” she explained.

She reminded guests at the launch that the tough sporty and premium wide feel was further enhanced by the connected tail light design with LED light guide at the rear with the uniquely styled all-new 16 inch alloy wheels that emphasise the dynamism and ruggedness of the BR-V.

“The vehicle boasts a sporty all black colour theme, modern dashboard design, high quality material and a highly versatile, comfortable and spacious three row cabin. The leather seats coupled with leather wrapped steering wheel, leather gear knob and leather door armrests enhances the premium and sporty appeal.”

The outstanding packing of the BR-V is based on Honda’s Man Maximum Machine Minimum concept to create maximum space for the occupants offering significantly high headroom, legroom and knee room. At 4456mm long, 1735mm wide, 1666mm tall with a wheelbase of 2662mm, efficient use of specs has been made to create an ultra-spacious cabin. The BR-V chassis realises both superior ride comfort and agile handling. It is offered with a 1.5i-VTEC engine and is available in three grades variants, Trend, Comfort and Elegance.

Honda’s loyal following and faith in the brand’s reliability should help the BR-V capture a good chunk of the market.
