‘Poultry in motion’ at Riversmead golf day

There was wonderful camaraderie on the day.

CRAIG Mitchell may not be the best golfer on the planet, but he organises a golf day every year that is a great advertisement for how much fun the game can be.

This year it was sponsored by Riversmead Farm, and called the Riversmead Invitational.

Golfers did their best to make birdies, and won chicken hampers as prizes.

Winning the tournament wasn’t really anyone’s main focus – rather it was getting out there and enjoying a game of golf.

Held at the Wild Coast Sun Country Club, it was hard not to have fun.

Winners at the end of all this were Keith Willett and Ronald Kuhn.

Players came from far afield, including Durban, Underberg, Kokstad, Harding and obviously local.

“Thanks to everyone who played or was involved in some way. Conditions were perfect. We are looking forward to the next one,” said Craig.
