Johan cards 41 points to win at Margate CC

THE women’s alliance at Margate Country Club last Tuesday was won by Jane Davies, Julie Gerber, Beryl Williamson and Augie D’Ewes.
Runners-up were Sandi Johnston, Shannon Gottlieb, Connie McArthur and Lexley Lewis.
Wednesday Wobblers’ comp was won by Otto Mutschler, Dave Morrison and Derek Egerton on 92 points.
They were six ahead of Peter Willemse, Andrew Dickerson and Piet Pretorius who counted out Cyril Greensmith, Peter Rogers and Hans Beilhartz.
The Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Konnie Konrad, Peter Hunter and Nico van Vuuren on 75 points.
Thursday’s comp was won on 41 points by Johan Stoltz on 41 points, followed on 40 points by Angus McLachlan and Louie Carriera.
Nearest the pins were Johan Stoltz (4th) and David Jenkinson (16th).
