Rain, ghosts and great scores at Port Shepstone CC
It would be nice if the wet weather held off for the next three weeks.
CASPER the ghost was called into action during the business day, sponsored by the People’s Choice, at Port Shepstone Country Club last Friday.
‘Casper’, aka Willem Lindeque, helped get Terry Kotze, Eddie Ringo and Dave Clark across the line on 95 points.
In second place on 94 points were Shaun Nathanson, Fred van Zyl, Dave Higgins and Ryan Charlton.
They counted out Di Nadauld, Marisa Stretch, Liana Kloppers and Barbra Rousseau.
Saturday’s comp was rained out.
Phil Myburgh and Brett Pollington won the betterball comp last Wednesday.
They carded 48 points to edge out Paul Geoffery and Leon Bunge, who had 46 points.
