South Coast Striders see red

Athletes exchanged their water bottles for roses.

THOSE who are not fans of the over-commercialised Valentine’s chocolates and cards and wanted something a bit more elaborate, headed to the South Coast Striders’ clubhouse in Uvongo last Friday for its Valentine’s Day party.

Everyone enjoyed good music and relaxation.

Wayne Wridgway of the South Coast Striders said that the Valentine’s party was an excellent way to get all their friends and colleagues together and have fun.

“We thought this event was going to be great, but after seeing the excitement on the faces of so many patrons, it really sunk in how amazing it truly was,” explained Wayne.

“We couldn’t be happier with how the party turned out and can’t wait for the next one.”
