Purple patch continues for golfer Heather
The club champ has kept up her winning ways.
HEATHER Anderson has continued her good form after winning the club champs at Southbroom Golf Club last weekend.
This week she teamed up with Liz Fertacz, Gjertrud Kok and Anita Landolf to win the women’s alliance last Wednesday on 78 points.
In second place on 77 points were Heleen Hissey, Aletta , Di Morris and Eileen Neilson.
Third went to Irene Schanda, Candida Amm, Michelle Davies and Margaret Stoellinger on 76 points.
In the men’s comp the winners were Malcolm Greenland, Colin McKay, Gary Purtell and Harvey Roberts on 87 points.
Second place was shared on 84 points by Bob Thomas, John Fox, Andrew Fox and Dave Fox, as well as Graham Volck, Kerry Fielden, Brian Hoggart and Geoff Skelton.

The Union Motors business day shootout last Friday was won by Bob and Allyson Thomas, with Norman and Shirley Jeffery.
Second were Lance Marshall, Roger Hissey, Roy Deakins and Jonathan Shaw, followed by Edwin Steyn, Patrick Mavundla, Joseph and Margaret Stoellinger.
Having to settle for fourth place were Kevin Murray, Eugene Orsmond, Johan Greef and Paul Coetzee.
Saturday’s Casa Toscana day was won on 44 points by Mary Carolan and Karen Asbock, one ahead of Shelley Myers and Eileen Neilson, as well as Hannah Hierhold and Di Morris.
The men’s comp was won by Jim Dimambro and Paul Lawson on 44 points, edging out two pairs on 43 points, namely Brian Hoggart and Kerry Fielden, as well as Dave Neilson and Paul Cole.
