Runners will be in the pink on Easter Monday

The regular Uvongo PinkDrive fun runs raise funds for cancer research.

WEAR your favourite pink running outfit and help fund cancer research by lining up for the next PinkDrive fun run.

A regular and well-supported Uvongo holiday happening, this fun run starts at the Uvongo fishing pier end of Lilliecrona Boulevard on Easter Monday, April 17, at 8am.

Registration opens at 7.30am. Runners, walkers, strollers, wheelchair athletes, cyclists, pram pushers, dog walkers and anyone else who would like to take part are all welcome.

Entry fee is R25 and this goes to PinkDrive, a movement that supports breast cancer awareness, research and prevention..

Entrant can start at the fishing pier and proceed along Lilliecrona Boulevard to Lucien beach and back to complete a 5km course or they can double up and do 10km.

Nashua South Coast has assisted with sponsorship of the publicity pamphlets.
