THREE different motorists were recently arrested by RTI officers on the N2 freeway at Ifafa just north of Hibberdene on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.

Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, said that three men, aged 31, 33 and 57 respectively, were exceeding the speed limit of 120km/h.

They were caught driving at a speed of 163, 174 and 188 km/h respectively – Lt-Col Wiid.

They were arrested and taken to Hibberdene police station and charged.

“They each paid R1000 bail and will appear in court on Tuesday this week,” she said.
