EnduroX riders add fizz to bike fest

It was great to see some of the coast's global stars competing at home.

ONE of the highlights of the South Coast Bike Festival was the South Coast EnduroX (and first round of the Powasol Series) held on the Margate beachfront last weekend.

It was won by none other than global star Wade Young (Sherco) from Paddock.

Blake Gutzeit (Yamaha), the current Super Enduro Junior World champion, of Oslo Beach, placed third.

Thre young Umzumbe boys also got a feel for the big time.

Joshua Henderson (14) won the 85cc Pro Mini Class with Matthew Henderson (12) in second place. They rode on KTM 85 bikes.

Guy Henderson (11) was second in the 65cc Pro Mini Class.

It was a fantastic event and the riders flew the South Coast flag with pride.
