Senior and masters’ pool players on target
An event of this magnitude shows how pool is growing in our province.
THE senior and masters’ divisions of the 8-ball pool competition attracted a number of players from across the country last Saturday.
KZN 8-Ball Pool Federation president Keegan Reddy said the federation’s management announced the best news of all time and that was winning the bid to host the Nationals Tournament for 2017 in KZN, with the option to extend for another two years until 2019.

“Last year saw a big change in the KZN committee and we perfected our team formula and stamped our positivity on our selected KZN players for all different events,” explained Keegan.
He pointed out that 2017 was a trendsetter and an eye- opener for our province because the federation set high goals to achieve and led with passion and positivity from a pool committee to the chosen KZN players who were determined to go to the Nationals and not come back empty handed.
He told the Herald that to have an event of this magnitude shows how pool is growing in our province. “KZN 8-Ball Pool Federation would like to praise the Ugu district for always supporting the KZN teams with sponsorships.”
