Hockey tournament offers both fun and fitness

COLOURFUL team outfits and an atmosphere of great camaraderie were the order of the day at the Port Shepstone hockey club’s tournament at Creston College last Sunday.

Winning ways: Proud to have won are members of ‘The A Team’ (from left) Pierre Scheepers, Cassidy Calder, Mitch Calder, Diana Pieterse and Gareth Pieterse.

It was just total fun, a social day between ‘companies’. Organiser Donovan Rothman said that, at the end of the day, all the teams had fun!

“We brought together a mixture of new and experienced players. I want to thank Creston College for the use of its fields and AstroTurf.”
