THREE of the region’s golf courses were used for the popular Wild Coast Classic played recently.
In addition to the jewel of the Golf Coast crown – the Wild Coast Sun CC – San Lameer and Southbroom were also used.

That’s some serious scenery for visiting golfers to enjoy.
The field comprised 140 players so was split into two groups at two courses per day.
The weather was fantastic with no wind so conditions were amazing for all the players who had travelled from all over the country, as well as some local entrants.
Sagren Pillay from Richards Bay was the winner on 123 points.
Runner-up on 113 points was Sydwell Shabangu from Johannesburg.
Counted out into third place was local star Peppy Govender from Port Sheptsone.
