THE sport of bowls has changed quite considerably in the past few years. Gone are the days when dress code was whites, long trousers for men and definitely stockings and dresses for the women.
Most clubs now play their social games in mufti and many have club colours for competitions. The bowls themselves are now available in the colours of the rainbow!

The format of the games is also undergoing change and faster, more exciting formats are being introduced worldwide. Super ten, jack-attack and even cricket mean that a whole new atmosphere is felt on the greens.
