Mug triumph minor fuss for Morris at Port Shepstone CC
There are three big events at the club this weekend.
Ken Morris won the Auto Exec monthly mug at Port Shepstone Country Club last week Saturday, scoring nett 66.
He did so fairly comfortably, with only Gary Vogt getting close to his score.
Best gross was shared by Graham Fabricius and Paul Geoffery on 76.
The musician (Paul) had a rare chance to beat his friend ‘G Fab’ but made a double bogey on the 16th.
He skinned his approach into the little stream, and then tried to chop it out from there, with not much success.
There was some consolation for Paul as he won the A division, counting out Greg Hornby on nett 70.
