Augie and Bob take the silverware at Southbroom
Captain Michelle continues her good form
MICHELLE Davies, Bonnie Spice, Rene Matthew and Lesley Godley combined perfectly to win Wednesday’s ‘windy’ alliance on 92 points, a staggering 11 points ahead of runners-up Jenny Holford, Allyson Thomas, Di Morris and Janet Humphrey.

Olliver Ransome, Chris Miller, Norman Farrell and Don Osbourn had the putts dropping to ensure line honours in the men’s competition on 95 points. Basil Chetty, Gavin Sole, Geoff Skelton and Bob Thomas were placed second on 91 points.
Captain Michelle Davies continued her current good form to win the Curlewis Shield competition last Saturday on 74 nett. Augi D’Ewes, with 77 nett , was second in the competition but as the top qualifier, is this year’s trophy winner. Di Morris was third on 78 nett.
In the men’s competition, the captain’s trophy was up for grabs.
Gordon Moody won the Stableford division on 37 points followed by Graham Volck and Dave Page who tied on 34 points.
The medal competition and trophy winner was Bob Thomas on 69 nett. Cleve Walker was runner-up on70 nett followed by Chris Miller and John Neaves who shared third place with 71 nett.
