Netball season closes in style

Action netball league has drawn to a close for the 2017 seasom.

Omega Field Services played Creston College in a gripping final, where the ball went from one end to the other before goals were scored.

Both teams produced some top quality netball.

In the end Omega Field Services won the match, their extra experience proving the difference.

The Creston College team had to be content with the silver medal this year. The team was (back, from left) Cassandri Pretorius, Yolanda Mayeza and Raine van Tichelen, with Johné Roberts, Jessé Nell, Akhona Mayeza, Nomty Pangwa and Zimbini Pangwa in front.

The players thanked Dianne Theron and Adrian Theron for the sponsorship.

Creston College had a very young team, but one that has loads of potential. This time though, they had to ‘bow the knee’ to their more skilled opponents.
