George makes his mark at Port Shepstone Country Club

The course is in superb condition.

George Bowie and Mark Smith ‘outplayed’ the windy, unseasonable weather last Wednesday to win the betterball Stableford competition at Port Shepstone Country Club on 48 points.

David Mee and Jimmy Parsons were second on 47 points after counting out Altaaf Bux and Rischav Pillay.

Although the wind was thumping on Saturday, the sunny skies were very much to Yzelle Greyling and Cecilia Verster’s liking, winning the Stableford competition on 47 points, one ahead of Kevin Loring and Tony van Niekerk. George Bowie and partner Phil Myburgh were third on 45 oco.
