CHRIS Miller, Southbroom Golf Club’s ‘Chicken King’, was at it again with a win last Friday.
He topped the leaderboard on 23 points, joined by Nick van Deventer and Heather Anderson.

Roger Phillips had 21 points, followed by George Haswell, Russell Johnson and Charlie Watt on 19 points.
Last Saturday’s ‘mixed’ alliance (one score on par 4s, two on par 5s and three on par 3s) was won on 82 points by Dave Page, George Wright, Kerry Fielden and Gordon Moody.
Runners-up on 81 points were Gary and Lesley Godley, Bob and Allyson Thomas.
They tied with Jenny Westray, Heleen Hissey, Lyn Doveton and Jackie van Eeden, as well as Doug Butcher, Mike Slade, Brian Richards and Mike Jacquet, and also Mari Fielden, Sandy Fitzgerald, Maeve Mullane and Lan Yeadon.
The previous Wednesday’s competition was won on nett 66 by Bruce Matthew.
It was also played as a Stableford, so runner-up was Terry Sheppard on 42 points, with Malcolm Greenland next on 41 points.
On 40 points were Stuart Janvier, Clive Miller and George Haswell.
The women’s competition was won on nett 73 by Lorna Johnson.
In second was Jeanne Powell on 35 points, with Heather Anderson and Lorraine Cook both on 33 points.
