Drag racing back at Dezzi Raceway soon
All grandstand seats are now free, but it works on a first-come, first-seat basis.
Gas Magazine presents the first drag racing event of the year at Dezzi South Coast Raceway on Saturday, February 17.
Eighty of the fastest cars and bikes from around the country, but mainly from Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, will compete for top honours.

Weather permitting, the track will be prepped with ‘track bite’ which helps the drag cars with more traction.
This added traction allows the race car to put more power down without spinning, which results in faster exit speeds and quicker times. And more excitement for spectators.
Entry fee for the event is R70, but free for children under the age of 12.
Patrons are allowed to bring in plastic bottles and their own meals, chairs and gazebos, but strictly no alcohol, cooler boxes, weapons or drugs.
The raceway is a family-friendly venue and parents are encouraged to bring their children along to watch all the action.
Gas Magazine has an open pit policy which is a hit among the petrol heads as they can interact with the drivers as well as view the cars and bikes up close.
