KINGFISHER BA

Well done to the Quadrangular men’s squad who came second overall at Amazimtoti last weekend, and the women who were third overall at Stella Park in Durban.

Congratulations and good luck to Pam Cole-Cook and Edddie Fann, who’ll be taking part in the BSA Senior Masters this weekend in Pretoria.

The penultimate Men’s Saturday League games will take place on February 17.

BANNERS REST

The Tops Port Edward men’s pairs was won by Ray Martin and Rob Lyle, with Peter Bennett and Joe Ashworth in second place.

The 50/50 board was won by Ray Martin.

Next sponsored competition will be the SuperSpar Port Edward 2-bowls mixed trips next Wednesday (14th).

HIBBERDENE

Tiago’s mixed trips winners were Jan Ooostuizen, Fires van Vuuren and Nossie Patterson.

Runners-up were Hana Svoboda, Miriam Seager and Louis Gerber.

Session prize went to Richard Dunn, Callie Quinn and Lorraine van Heerden.

MARGATE BC

Spur winners on February 1 were Georgie McKechnie, Eric Chamier and Ron Vink.

Food Lover’s Market open trips is this Friday (9th) in the afternoon.

Valentine’s Day Bowls and Champagne Brunch next Wednesday (14th). R40pp, guests welcome, lots of prizes to be won.

MARGATE CC

The Hair Shoppe women’s fours was won by Val Smith, Pat Ruperto, Leonie Bloem and Eileen van der Lith.

Runners-up were Kobie Stander, Eileen Lloyd, Marie Rogers and Winnie Hess.

Shelly Beach SuperSpar Open Trips will be a special Valentine’s Day competition next Wednesday (14th).

MUNSTER

Spar mixed trips winners were Rick Harding with Sergio and Pat Ruperto.

Runners-up were Louise Dry, Leone Bloem and Rory Lawson.

Second session to Albert van der Lith, Phil Longden and Eileen van der Lith.

Valentine’s Day tournament sponsored by John Lee this Saturday (10th).

NOMADS

Next game is at Riverside BC this Sunday (11th) at 8.30am.

There will be a bring and braai after the game.

PORT EDWARD

The Cowshed open trips was won by Leigh Warner, Val Smith and Mary Warner, from Gawie Bosman, Leoni Booth and Tommy Doubell.

Second session winners were Rob Lyle, Pat Brand and Marion Hall.

Winner of Sunday’s Scrounger competition was Trevor Smith, runner-up Derek Wicks. Plate A was won by Mary Phelps and Plate B by John Thomas.

RIVERSIDE

Well done to Edna Beckett, Ann Osbourn and Queenie Riley, winners of the Food Lover’s Market drawn trips.

They were followed by Chris Pozyn, Sharon Smith and Dick Thompson.

Next competition is Cupboard Value Valentine’s Day on Sunday (18th).

VILLAGE

Food Lover’s Market mixed trips winners were Alan Tyers, Trevor Smith and Jean Dean from Hazel Hoskins, Harry Nicolson and Manny Piquito.

Third place went to Trevor Anderson, Dawn Ingle and Charlotte van Niekerk.
