Special tariff for families at Umtentweni Tennis Club
Visitors are asked to place fees under the door in an envelope.
Without the sun beating down, tennis at Umtentweni Tennis Club was good last week Saturday, with 19 members and two visitors (Sarah Kelly and Rod Nilsen) keeping four courts busy all afternoon.
Isabeau le Roux kindly stepped in to fill the duty gap and spoilt members rotten with samoosas and sarmies, lemon meringue pie and cream scones, as well as keeping the sets running smoothly.
Although Lynne Rorich isn’t quite ready to play yet, it has been really great to have her keeping a beady eye on proceedings the last few weeks.
Members wish her all the best when she goes for further treatment later in the month. Mitch is also well on the mend after his knee op and it has been good to see him at the club as well.

A friendly reminder to children who want to play with their parents at any time – there’s a special ‘family membership’ tariff which allows you to play whenever you like without incurring visitors’ fees.
Please contact Isabeau le Roux at 082 3431984 for details.
Visitors are kindly requested to put their visitors’ fees under the door (in an envelope would be good) if there are no members present when they play.
Duties: February 17 – Dan Dimitriu.
