Rough claims more than its fair share for Village Eagles
The weather was kind, not too hot and a small breeze blowing to help the players keep cool until they reached the end of the game and could relax in the comfort of the clubhouse with snacks provided.
THE 2018 season for the Village Eagles Golfing Society started with a wonderful game of golf at Selborne Park Golf Club. As usual the course had been prepared to a top level for this game. Congratulations to the greenkeeper and all his staff for keeping this course in such good condition.
There were 64 entries for this competition but Selborne course soon highlighted the many tight spots you can get into, which resulted in the players losing 138 balls during the round.
