Round robin coming up at Tweni tennis club in March

There’ll be a round robin and bring-and-braai at Umtentweni Tennis Club on Saturday, March 10.

Tennis will commence at 2.30pm and ‘Sudden Death’ will come into action to make things move along quickly.

Please put your names on the lists at the club for this event and let’s all enter to make it a rip-roaring success. Draw for partners will take place at 2.15pm.

Thanks to Chantelle Donald for treating members to pizza, snack biscuits and dip and, for the chocoholics, lamingtons and chocolate cake.

Thanks, Chantelle, too, for keeping everyone in action on the courts – it was great to have four courts going with Rod Nilsen a welcome visitor once again.

Birthdays this week will be celebrated by Trish Wood on the 17th and honorary life member, Peggy ‘Twinkletoes’ Igesund on the 19th.
