Winners of the SuperSpar Port Edward 2-bowl mixed trips played last Wednesday were Joe Ashworth, John Keppler and Leoni Booth.
Runners-up were Rod and Mary Phelps with Peter Bennett. Second session went to Penny and Aubrey Hood with Jenny Rennie and the 50/50 board to Val Smith.
British Bowlers challenge today (22nd).
HIBBERDENE
The Suzuki South Coast mixed trips was won by Richard Dunn, Hana Svoboda and Werner Mody.
In second place were Jane Massam, Bruce Hoyer and Bill Enkerwitz.
Session prize to Piet and Suzaan van Rooyen and Mada Lindeque.

Food Lover’s Market winners were Derek McKechnie, Eric Chamier and Margaret Duffield.
Georgia Spur vouchers went to Pam Cole-Cook, Vi Pells and Leonie Booth.
Runners-up were Yvonne James, Vicki de Beer and Heidi Bracegirdle.

MARGATE CC
The Shelly Beach SuperSpar trips on St Valentine’s Day was won by Dora Vosloo, Yvonne van Mentz and Winnie Hess.
Runners-up were Raubie Raubenheimer and Martiens Olivier.
Session prize went to Kobie Stander, Clive Edmundson and Peta Egerton.
Peta Egerton and Brian Douthwaite won the best-dressed hamper prizes.
The JL Panelbeaters men’s fours winners were Rod Phelps, Peter Bennet, Gino Allilovic and Ally Weir.
Runners-up were Dieter Scholz, Rodney Will, Ian Hutton and Ross Ferguson.

High Rock mixed pairs winners were Chris Green and Lizette Greeff.
Cleaning up in the Cow Shed/Tops men’s pairs were Piet Heunis and Rob Lyle.
Taking top honours at the St Valentine’s Day competition were Mary Phelps, Hazel Delaney and Myra Doubell.
Mariners Restaurant open trips winners were Hedley Meek, Val Smith and Pat Ruperto.
Tops in the Spur sponsored tabs were Cliff Moakes, Trish Houbert and Barbara Anderson.
Spar mixed trips winners were Rick Harding, Sergio and Pat Ruperto.
PORT EDWARD
The St Valentines Day bowls ‘golf’ competition, sponsored by Golden Moon Spur, saw 40 bowlers take part. It was won by Leoni Booth.
Tabs in social bowls this Saturday (25th). Club colours or whites, visitors welcome.
At future ‘tabs in’ socials, casual clothes (golf shirts) may be worn every first and third Saturday of the month, Wednesdays and second and fourth Saturdays whites or club colours.
Club colours for all internal competions.
PSCC
Eddie Fann represented the club in recent South African Masters. He bowled well but no prizes this time.
The men’s A side in the KBA first league picked up a full house of five points which gives them an unassailable lead going into the final round.
The B side picked up two points and need just one point next week to win the second league.
Bowlers’ annual golf day this Sunday (25th).

A most enjoyable Battle of the Sexes game was played last Sunday.
The supreme art of winning bowls is to subdue the enemy without a fight. Well done to the men with a score of 284 against 256.
Well done to Frik Janse van Rensburg on winning the club novices’ champs from Alan Wallace.
Winners of the Harbour View SuperSpar trips were M Coetzer, B Gradwell and M Lindeque.
TWENI
Schooner’s mixed trips was won by Ollie Coetzer, Marie Coetzer and Nossie Patterson, from Mike Mannion, Vell Mannion and Dumisani Madlala.
Session prize went to Keith Mills, Tammy Gibbons and Peter Anderson.
Next competition is the Wimpy women’s pairs today (22nd) at 9am.
Razzels Restaurant mixed fours next Tuesday (27th) at 9am.
VILLAGE
Martin Electronics men’s 2-4-2 winners were Ron Canning and Rennie Geyer, from Ali Mitchell and Doug Kent.

Hyundai trips winners were Yvonne Anderson, Dawn Oehley and Lucas Landman.
