Busy week on the greens at Sezela BC
We are still hopeful to host our Fab 5s fellowship day with our friends from AMBC on March 18.
LAST week Sezela hosted two sponsored competitions for a full week of bowling.
The first one on Monday was the mixed trips, sponsored by Halfway Toyota, Pennington Conservancy and Scottfin and it was a clean sweep for Sezela teams.
Taking second session were ‘big’ Steve Fourie, Charlie Douglas and Thelma Montague on 2+13. Runners-up were Roy ‘on the’ Jack, Dave Billet and Marion McGavin on 4+19.

Winners were husband and ‘women’ team of Geoff and Jenny Donaldson and Bryony D’Oliveira with 4+23. Food was kindly prepared by Thelma, Irene, Ellie Liz and Cassie.
On Friday it was the turn of the mixed 2-4-2 sponsored by Umdoni Golf Restaurant and Zisabo in Park Rynie.
The session prize was won by Gina George and Fred Hutchins on 2+9 and some wag said that Gina, George and Fred was actually a trips team and should have been disqualified! Thanks Mallie!
Runners-up were Allan and Pam Grey with 4+16 but just pipping them with 4+19 was president Jerry Davey very ably supported by his wife Michele. Food was courtesy of Claire, Linda Michele and Mel.
The Joker Poker draw was won by Jenny Wadeley but, once again, sadly could not turn over the elusive joker. Next Monday the jackpot will be around R3 500, so buy your tickets to be in with a chance.
