Heather Anderson shows medal mettle at Southbroom GC
Strokeplay golf usually sees the cream rise to the top.
HEATHER Anderson won the medal at Southbroom Golf Club last week Friday on nett 68.
The individual Stableford was won on 39 points by Ursula Spoerri on a countout from Anita Landolf.
Third went to Janet Humphrey on 37 points.
The men’s medal winner was Gerald Fitzgerald on nett 64.

Winning the Stableford was Russel Mackenzie on 43 points, by two from Joseph Stoellinger.
Dave Fox was next on 40 points, with Gordon Moody next on 39 points.
Last Saturday’s competition, sponsored by The Gallery Café, was won on 46 points by Alexandra Huber and Ursula Spoerri 46 pts
Runners-up were Janet Humphrey and Jean Corfe on 45 points, followed by Hannah Hierhold and Michelle Davies on 43 points.
In the men’s section first spot went to Gavin Edwards and Jaco Das on 50 points, edging out Richard Derman and Rob Williams on 49 points.
Third place went to Brian Jolliffe and Anton Kohrman on 48 points.
Chicken Run winners last Friday were Mike Anthony, Des Erasmus and Ross McKay, who all scored 20 points.
