Mee is no mug as he shoots nett 64 at Sheppie
Some recent rain should soften up the course a bit.
WITH the exception of Dave Mee, who had nett 64, scoring was not out of this world at last Saturday’s Auto Exec Monthly Mug at Port Shepstone Country Club.
Dave won the overall mug by five shots as he ran into some serious form.
The A division was won by Greg Hornby on nett 69, on a countout from Sanjay Singh. Gavin van Wyk was third on nett 72.
Greg also had the lowest gross on the day, 78.
B division winner was Ricky Naidoo on nett 69, one ahead of Jimmy Parsons and James Coull who both had nett 70.
C division honours went to Bevis Fairbrother on nett 70, on a countout from Rob Calder. Tony Fairbairn was third on nett 71.
Sheldon van der Merwe won the Stableford on 38 points, by two from Debi Stewart.

Jacky van Heerden and Santhos Baskali won the betterball Stableford on 48 points at Port Shepstone Country Club last Wednesday.
Runners-up on 46 points were Brett Pollington and Dick Wheelright, followed by John Beekman and Jesse Verster on 44 points.
Beekman Business Day is today Friday (9th).
