GEORGE Bothma won the monthly medal at Margate Country Club on nett 68 last week Saturday, with Sydney Shingange a distant second on nett 81.
He shot three over par 74 off his six handicap. Nice to see him playing well again, must be those hours on the range.
B division honours went to Graeme Massam on nett 70, one ahead of John Webster on nett 71.
Des Evans won the C division on 34 points, counting out Hans van der Walt.
Nearest the pins were Graeme Massam (4th) and George Bothma (16th).
The Connie Day betterball was won by Connie McArthur and Sandi Johnston on 41 points, counting out Shannon Gottlieb and Lexley Lewis.
The women’s competition was rained off last Tuesday.
The Wednesday Wobblers game was won on 76 points by Thys Bothma, Richard Plaskitt and Bob Weanie on 76 points.

The Arthur Tomlinson Floater went to Jan Richter, Peter Hunter and Alan Davies on 65 points.
Last Thursday’s competition was won on 39 points by Chris Nel, on a countout from Mike Lee.
