I want to thank Avanti Low from Jawitz and Colette Prinsloo from Crafts and Creations by Colette for donating filled bags and toiletries towards our Christmas bag campaign.
To everyone who has taken bags, we thank you. Some bags are still outstanding, and we would like them back as soon as possible so we can start sorting them out. If someone would still like to fill a bag, contact us as soon as possible.
To our community, we need your help with donations of the following: bedding, clothing, furniture, electrical appliances and curtains.
We hand out to those in need first; the rest goes to our market to raise money for groceries. You are welcome to support our market in Alkins Drive, Park Rynie. Our prices are competitive, so everyone can afford to buy from us. Please, we need all the support we can get.
Things are getting worse daily, and people are unable to cope. We get daily requests for help, and once again petrol and diesel prices have gone up, and people can hardly afford food.
Baby goods were donated to Operation Bobbi Bear, which looks after abandoned children in Amanzimtoti. To everyone who donated, we thank you. One of my angels, Sandra Kleingeld, crocheted all the baby suits, and I also thank people who have dropped off items with us. God bless.
To my Angels, I thank you for everything you do for Joanne’s Angels. These ladies work just as hard as I do to get items in, and most of us pay out of our own pockets for the project to be successful.
You can contact us on 082-337-7330. We are willing to pick up, or you can drop off at 106 Alkins Drive.
