ALTHOUGH there seems to be a slight drop in temperature, it was still pretty steamy for tennis at Umtentweni Tennis Club last week.

Visitors, Neil Perry, Kylan Guest and Annamari Wege were most welcome and it was great to see five courts being utilised. All visitors are very welcome and it would be great to have all six courts going.
Sincere condolences go to Mervyn Tarboton’s family on the tragic death of his son-in-law, Chris Nash. Thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
Keith Gatley celebrated his birthday on the 21st and belated greetings go to him. Keep up the scintillating tennis, Keith – you’re a formidable opponent.
Members wish Liesl Smith a speedy recovery from the shingles she has picked up – hang in there, Liesl – the discomfort doesn’t last forever.
