Surprise ace from stuns Tweni tennis stalwart
There's never a dull moment at the tennis club.
IT’S been a fun week at Umtentweni Tennis Club, with the ‘big’ news being that Chantelle Donald managed to ace Colin Barker!
This will take Colin a little while to live down.

Visitors Anna-Marie Wege and Neil Perry were welcome once again and members look forward to seeing them again soon. Anna-Marie is wished safe travelling as she returns to Pretoria for a spell.
Her hard-hitting game will be sorely missed, but members hope to see her again next time she’s at the coast. Saturday saw five courts in action which was wonderful.
Liesl Smith is on the mend and members were pleased to see her on Saturday when she provided sausage rolls, chocolate cupcakes and milk tart for tea.
Hopefully, she’ll be back on the courts in the near future.
It was great to have Anne Payn back on the courts after her harrowing ordeal of being shot in the leg by a rubber bullet and members wish her a complete recovery soon.
Saturday duty: May 12 – Foxy Norton; May 19 – Mary Wood.
