Road cyclists hold their own in Durban

The cyclists held their own at the big event.

THE 25th aQuelle Tour Durban was recently held at the Moses Madiba stadium on a rainy Sunday morning.

This year the route was altered slightly and the main event was 95.4 km long.

A number of road cyclists from the South Coast competed in the main race and a couple of mountain bikers took part in the cyclo-cross event.

There is full road closure for this event which was appreciated by all the cyclists.

Special mention must go to Elma Kruger who completed her first aQuelle Tour Durban in a great time of three hours and 20 minutes.
