Final schools’ volleyball tournament this weekend
Come along and support your volleyball team.
This Saturday, May 19 will see the final schools’ volleyball knockout tournament at the Marburg Volleyball Complex. The tournament starts at 8am with primary schools’ section and 10.30am for the secondary schools.

In the primary schools’ section U12 and U14 divisions will be contested and in the secondary schools section, U16 and O16 (open) divisions will be contested.
With the entry fees for the tournament at R100 per team, schools are urged to settle accounts before the tournament commences.
Primary schools taking part include Marburg Primary, RA Engar, Griffendore, Hlanganani Preparatory, Port Shepstone Senior Primary, Jai Hind and Merlewood Primary.
The secondary schools’ section’s current reigning champions, Port Shepstone Secondary, are still basking in glory following their resounding defeat of big guns Marburg Secondary in the last KO tournament contested and it is difficult to see any school challenging them on the overall points table, making Sheppie Secondary overwhelming favourites to retain the high school championships.
