‘PAR’ golf wins it for Wobblers at Margate CC
The course yielded some good scores last week.
THE Wobblers game at Margate Country Club last Wednesday was won on 82 points by team PAR, namely Piet Pretorius, André Henn and Rob Brien.

In second place on 80 points were Carl Zurfluh plus pivots, one ahead of Bob Weanie, Johan Holshof and Dave Boyd.
Grace Fourie and Evelyn Burls won the 9-hole competition last Tuesday on 21 points, counting out Beryl Williamson and Margaret Taylor.
Last Thursday’s pro shop competition saw John Webster again in good form, taking the win with 41 points.
He was three ahead of Joe Espach. Nearest the pins were Johan Stoltz (2nd) and Mike Lee (16th).
Rob Weyer and Mike Lee won last Saturday’s competition on 80 points, by four from Joe Espach and Eddie Davies.
In the women’s competition – Sandi’s Surprise – the winners were Sandi Johnston, Beryl Williamson, Margaret Taylor and Connie McArthur on 117 points.
