BANNERS REST
Winners of the Golden Moon Spur mixed trips were Vi Pells, Dave Hume and Ally Weir, from runners-up Joe Ashworth, Leoni Booth and Dice Graaff.
Second session was won by John Keppler, Steve and Jenny Rennie, and the 50/50 board by Mary Phelps.

GP Security mixed pairs this Wednesday, May 30 and Tops Port Edward men’s pairs on Sunday, June 3.
HIBBERDENE
The Suzuki South Coast mixed trips was won by Albert and Alida Munnik with Alex Beukes.
Runners-up were Richard Dunn, Martin Rautenbach and Charles Peters. Session went to Bez and Bubbles Bezuidenhout with Hana Svoboda.
Next competition is Bourman Group mixed trips this Friday (25th).
MARGATE BC
Claiming the Green Chilli vouchers last week were Sharon Scheinberg, Henry Jacobs, Ron Vink and Heidi Bracegirdle.
Spur trips was won by Kathy Bobich, Amelia Pieterse and Jenny Sammers, from Ellen Cawker, Yvonne Bausek and Dina van der Walt.
Session to Lenie Geyer, Georgie McKechnie and Heidi Bracegirdle.
Social bowls is played every Sunday at 9am.
MARGATE CC
The annual JL Panelbeaters novice invitational pairs was an incredible success with all bowlers thoroughly enjoying the experience of two days of two-bowl pairs, requiring continuous concentration and application.
Novice Glen Hatfield from Southbroom, with his partner Tony Waters, romped home the winners with an aggregate score of 389 points.
Runners-up from The Bell were David Nicholas and his partner Hew Hodgson with 348 points.
The JL Panelbeaters men’ fours winners were Hein Bester, Vernon Clements, Cleve Walker and Brent Addison.
Runners-up were Dieter Scholz, Rodney Will, Ian Hutton and Kevin Button.
Log leaders are still Mike Davis’s team from AMBC with 273 points.
MUNSTER

Cynthia’s Butchery sponsored the Nomads’ competition at the Village last Sunday.
Winners were Kobus Faber, Yvonne James, Eric Chamier and Leza Edwards.
Runners-up were Chris Pozyn, Austen Knollys, Sheena Absolom and Tommy Doubell.
The annual general meeting was a success and the committee will remain the same for next year.
Next outing is June 10, venue to be announced.
PORT EDWARD
The Scroungers tournament last Sunday was won by Sariena Ziervogel from Rod Phelps.
Mary Warner won the Plate A from Marianne van Buuren, with Derek Wicks winning the Plate B from Leigh Warner.
Winners of the Cowshed/Golden Moon Spur were Leigh Warner, Dave Hume and Leoni Booth, from John Keppler, Andreas van der Linde and Mary Warner.
SOUTHBROOM
Tiago’s men’s trips was won by Steve Rennie, Aubrey Hood and John Keppler.
Runners-up were Tony Waters, Cleve Walker and Graham Volck.
Sessions to Roy Robertson, Doug Kent and Geoff Oliver, as well as Brian Douthwaite, Gary Hess and Bill Eccles.
SOUTHPORT
Norman Aiston, Albert Munnik and Rentie Stevens won the Suzuki South Coast men’s trips, from Brian Porteous, Alex Beukes and Len Rossler.
Session prize went to Mike King, Cosmos Gumede and Dennis Schmidt.
Harbour View SuperSpar women’s trips will be held today (24th).
THE BELL
Fruit and Veg 2-4-2 was won by Albert and Alida Munnik, from Louw and Charmaine Vermeulen.
Session prize went to Sharolyn Dacey and Steve O’Moore.
Next sponsored competition is the Orca mixed trips this Friday (25th).

Schooner’s mixed trips was won by Jan Huygen, Nellie Davies and Kathy Simpson from runners-up Mike Mannion, Vell Mannion and Derick Cilliers.
Harbour View SuperSpar mixed pairs was won by Johnny Meyer and Karen Delaney from runners-up Bob Moroney and Molly Williams.
Wimpy pairs was won by Pat Maggs and Anne Payn from runners-up Astrid Jackson and Nellie Davies.

Hein Bester and Tony Waters won the Martin Electronic’s 2-4-2 from John Keppler and Aubrey Hood.

Hyundai drawn trips was won by David Garland and Aubrey Watson from Clive Bignall, Hugh Holland and Lionel Krause.
