Tee-off at Private Property and Caxton’s charitable golf day initiative

The event is being hosted in an effort to not only raise awareness but also support the Khaya Lam project.

It is fun and social interaction all around at the picturesque Mount Edgecombe Country Golf Club as the Free Market Foundation and Private Property together with Caxton played hosts to an exciting golf day.

Golfers engaging in some light banter on the course.

The event is being hosted in an effort to not only raise awareness but also support the Khaya Lam project, a community initiative.

True to its meaning, Khaya Lam, which means ‘My Home’, through its 5000 title deeds drive, is a noble initiative which seeks to make home ownership a reality for thousands of families that have never owned a home.

Marketing manager of Private Property, Sue Clarke has a bit of fun at the golf day.

The Free Market Foundation and Private Property joined forces to also assist millions around the country to obtain title deeds.

Genevieve du Preez, Philline V Heerden and Natasha Fraga smile for the camera.

The golf day is being played under a four ball alliance with the charitable drive officially concluding with 30 title deeds being handed over by Private Property to the respective families.

Greg Crowder, Tim Da La Hay, Paul Campbell and Mark Coetzee give the charitable golf day a ‘thumbs-up’.

It is expected that the real estate industry will rally behind this important cause which will contribute towards securing dignity and security through property ownership by title deed especially for the elderly, pensioners, single parent families and the unemployed who cannot afford costs of the titling process.

Currently, tee-off has begun and while golfers remain calm and concentrated, social banter can also be heard.
