Sanlam Cancer Challenge club qualifiers came to Southbroom Golf Club last Saturday.
In the women’s section, the A division was won by Janet Humphrey on 22 points.
B division was hard-fought, with Lorraine Cook counting out Mari Fielden and Candida Amm after all three had carded 36 points.
Michelle Davies won the C division on 36 points, two ahead of Jean Corfe.
In the men’s section, Gavin Sole won the A division on 42 points, scoring 66 gross.
Jannie Ackerman was next on 36 points.

B division honours went to Pierre van der Walle on 38 points, one ahead of Eugene Orsmand.
Jim Cook won the C division on 38 points, pipping Chris Ledden who had 37 points.
Lorraine Cook and Shirley Jeffery won the Gallery Café competition last Wednesday on 48 points, three ahead of Jo Ledden and Shelley Myers.
The men’s competition was won on 52 points by Jim Cook and Chris Miller. Next were Roger Hissey and Roy Deakins on 50 points.
