Purens power to podium finishes in Polokwane

Gavin Puren thanked the sponsors who had made it all possible.

A number of South Coast drifters took part in SD02 in Polokwane last weekend.

Gavin Puren qualified in fourth place in the pro class and finished second after some awesome battles.

Some of these were against former champion Shane Gutzeit, who was third on the podium.

Race winner was Jason Webb from Cape Town.

Gavin’s brother Brendan qualfied in eighth and finished in the same position.

Their father Trevor got top spot in the pro 1 class.

Tinashe Bundo was second and Melanie van der Merwe from Alberton in third.
