Nomads golfers visit Margate CC
Beautiful winter weather has resulted in some good scoring.
The women’s competition last Tuesday was cancelled due to the Southern Natal Nomads monthly game being held at the club.
Wednesday Wobblers’ game saw first place go to Frank Merrill, Rob Brien and Bob Weanie on 83 points.
Next were Alan Davies, Peter Hunter and Hans Bielhartz on 81 points.

Last Thursday’s Stableford was won by Carlos Pereira on 40 points, on a countout from Shannon Gottlieb and Gary Smith.
Nearest the pins were Carlos Pereira (2nd) and Johan Stoltz (11th).
Wayne Minnaar and Graeme Massam won last Saturday’s competition on 49 points, by one from Richard Plaskitt and Michael Downs, who counted out Doug Johnston and Wonder Nxumalo.
Nearest the pins were Joe Espach (2nd) and Graeme Massam (11th).
The Connie Day betterball was won by Jane Davies and Hilary Hendry on 45 points, by two from Helen Wepener and Sandi Johnston.
Two further back were Barbara Jackson and Julie Gerber.
