One way traffic for dominant Warriors

The Riversmead South Coast rugby Warriors ran in 21 tries to completely overpower the Zululand Rhinos at Douglas Mitchell Sports Ground last Saturday, with the final score 137-0.

Tries were scored by Chris Sharpe (1), Chris Mitchell (2), Jade Nyman (1), Cameron Camp (1), David Durrheim (2), Nico Smuts (1), Brandt Fields (1), Donovan Horne (3), Rameez Allie (3), Yonala Baleni (2), Senanelo Ndlazi (2) and Tristan Rothman (2).

Conversions were kicked by Fields (16), Smuts (2) and Jaques Coetzee (1).

Men of the match were Durrheim (forwards) and Smuts (backline).

The last game of the season against Westville Old Boys this Saturday at Douglas Mitchell will be much more challenging.

It’s also a must-win game to win their section of the Fidelity Security First Division South league.

For his efforts as overall man of the match, Durrheim won a round of golf at the Wild Coast Sun CC.

The second team won their game 41-12.
