Blue Ocean ‘chills’ at Polar Bear Swim

The annual swim was good, if cold, fun.

BLUE Ocean Aquatics Swim Club had a chilly fun swim recently in a non-heated pool at a temperature of 19 degrees, which is by far the warmest Polar Bear Swim yet out of eight swims.

This shows that it has been a very mild winter and the swimmers were cold but not freezing.

The junior swimmers did two lengths and the senior swimmers did four lengths.

The swim was ended off with a relay race against one another and then it was muffins and hot chocolate for all those who took part.
