THE South Coast Herald Longest Drive Challenge, which will take place at Port Shepstone Country Club this Sunday (26th) will start at 10am.

It promises to be a lot of fun and something quite different. You can also enjoy golf darts and a chipping challenge, or see how well (or far) you can hit a marshmallow!

Ashoo Singh and Santhos Baskali won the betterball at Port Shepstone Country Club last Wednesday on 47 points.

Runners-up were Warren Wood and Rob Calder on 43 points, counting out Ewald Ziervogel and Smittie Stieger.

Last Saturday’s betterball was won on 47 points by Sashen Govender and Suveshan Iyaloo.

They snuck in ahead of two pairs on 46 points, namely Leon Reeders and Rob Calder, as well as Thys Blom and Rudi Steyn.

The ‘Race to Thailand’ winning pair were Fred van Zyl and Tony Fairbairn on 47 points.
