Golden Oldies rugby for South Coast
Rules are different at this level, with players wearing colour-coded shorts.
GOLDEN Oldies rugby will take place at Douglas Mitchell Sports Ground from September 20 to 22.
The local players will be called the Warriors Sugar Daddies and the tournament’s main sponsor will be Fidelity Security.
Between 600 and 700 players are expected to take part, with teams usually having a squad of between 18 and 22 players.

There will also be a charity factor involved, with some funds being donated to the Chris Burger-Petro Jackson Players’ Fund.
Rules are different at this level, with players wearing colour-coded shorts.
For example, players wearing red shorts are not allowed to be tackled. Those over 80 years old will wear gold, and so on.
